I bought the 360 about a month after it launched and bought a few games with it. Call of Duty 2, Project Gotham Racing 3, and Oblivion. I completed Oblivion getting all the achievements for it; it took about 80+ hrs. I haven't touched the Shivering Isles dlc yet though I love the game but kind of got burned out on it. I didn't get all 1000 GS on PGR3 but I played it quite a bit. It really was a great game for live had a lot of fun with it. I still have people on my friends list from that game, good times. Call of Duty 2 I got all 1000 GS for that game but only recently. Damn veteran achievements discouraged me for a while.

Got three games when I bought my 360 in July '07 -- Oblivion, Crackdown, and Rainbow Six: Vegas. Completed Oblivion including all of the DLC, put in over 300 hours of playtime on it with one character. Still haven't completed the other two(have beat the single-player in both), not sure if I will. And yes, I do still have all three.

My first games were COD4 and Halo 3, I bought them the same day. I almost have Halo 3 completed, with 1575/1750...Probably not going to complete it though. I did complete COD4 this summer though.
