Ok first off I would like to say that there is no such thing as a \"Perfect\" game. Every game that has ever came out from any company that has been deem a 10 or close to a 10 has flaws or thing with in it that could have been done better.
That being said, It is my personal opinion that this GTA 4 is a 10 being that it is the best of the huge sandbox playground genre so far.
Now again, of course the game has problems, but other games that came out like Halo 3, Call of duty 4, Gears of War, Final Fantasy 7, forza motor sport, Metal Gear Solid series, which I also think are tens, also had Graphic glitches, slow moving opening story, and problems with the multi players, control issues, and problems with the cameras. Still they are none the less great if forever memorable games in each of their genres.
Has the GTA 4 been over hyped, yes. Unfortunately, the release of games today now rival the release of big budget movies and unfortunately it makes the anticipation bigger than the reality of the game.
Now no game will ever make everybody happy, that is just the way thing are (I don\'t like Guitar Hero Gasp!!!!!) but you have to give the game its dues because at least 90% of the people who play it love it. and if everybody love every game that dropped there wouldn\'t be anything to measure a good or bad game against.
In the end I thinks we all have to agree to disagree agreeable.
