Well, I'm gonna be getting my temps very soon. Lookin like this Saturday. As you might guess I'm pumped, especially being young for my grade, and everybody else I know getting them first.

My most honest thing I can say is, keep your cars position to other cars and obstacles in mind at all times and compensate speed and braking for that.
For first time drivers, be weary of other drivers and stop signs.
Those are priority, making sure you are driving wisely.

Yeah, I heard the same thing. But the DMV says 70% of takers fail the first time. Even if I fail, just gotta wit 24hrs, and attempt again. No reason I should fail tho.

You shouldn't have a problem passing the written. So long as you actually take the time the night before to recap on what signs mean what, following distances, speed limits in particluar zones, what the lines color and variation in the road mean and of course my favorite. Pedestrian right away and city vehicle road rights. (school buses, squad cars, EMS ambulances, snow plows)

I am so hyped I'm getting em. My mom wanted to wait till i was 17, then shes like this summer, when you get 16. then i told my dad (foreign, not to familiar with learners permits, lol) about it. he was like 'I don't see why not. i'll take you to get the book this week, and test Saturday. My mom agreed, but didnt like it.'

I just got my temps in September. I think I'm taking my test for my license March 22nd. The test to get the temps is really easy. I studied on the way there twice, because they were closed the first time. I missed one. It's easy, but I think it would be hard if I hadn't looked through the packet. Just skim quickly through it several times (or once) and you should be fine for that.
Turning took me a while to get used to too... but not a horrifically long time. I'm still not a great turner, but in 2-3 weeks my turns were usually just fine.

Scored perfect on the written in Ohio. Only needed the written to get the Ohio license as I was moving from another state. I will really shocked at how cakey it was.
