Maybe it releases on different dates for different stores. Sometimes chains are able to get a deal with a slightly earlier release date.
I remember RSV2 came out at Gamestop a day early.

that does happen but not with really high demand games... like when i was getting DBZ burst limit it said it was coming out june 10th so i go to gamestop and they said to come back tomorow cause they dont have it yet. but with things like halo and its says the 25th ITS COMING OUT THE 25TH lol

So, I rented this game to day and I am very dissapointed with it. I mean, the game is boring as all hell. The stupid campaign is only multiplayer matches with bots, if they were going to do that they shouldn't of even included a campaign in the first place. And you AI buddies in the game are no help at all.....I hate having to do everything yourself while your buddies just shoot at nothing. Of, course I've have to say I'm not all that far into the game, I'm just about done first act, but I'm not even sure I'll be able to finisht the campaign, I also wasn't too impressed with the multiplayer either and the weapons in the game are not that good...I personally think there really lame. At this point I'll give it a 6.75/10.

How is this game? I beat they thought this one was going to be a much bigger success then it turned out to be. GOW 2 coming in a quater of a year. Get ready boys I'm back! 35th in the world was my highest rank on the leaderboard on GOW 1. Although that was out of 1.5 million ppl.

i like this game a lot. it really has no campaign to speak of(single player is the same as multiplayer just without the bots)but the multiplayer is fast ,fun, graphics are great, weapons are cool too;most fun i've had with a shooter in a while(since shadowrun). remember, there would be no gow without unreal tournament.
