Okay well I have a turtlebeach X4 which I was given last Christmas as a gift. It has worked Excellent for me but here recently I have watched the MLG Games at www.MLGPro.com and they use Astros.
Well turns out Turtlebeach makers are furious about Astros' stealing the spot so they have decided to come out with new Turtlebeach Headsets.
Yeah theirs a Turtlebeach X41 and X31 only for the Xbot36, but do not get this. It says 7.1 Surround Sound when in reality Xbox360 doesn't play with nothing higher than 5.1 Surround Sound. And they jacked up the price for the New X41 and X31.
Also the new X41 and X31 do not have the ability to play more than 1 headset per transmitter. Meaning if you have a friend over and he has a headset for your old transmitter for the regular X4 than it wont work. You must buy additional Transmitters which sucks.
Okay so I love my Turtlebeach x4. It has failed for several of my friends though but the best thing about the x4 is that you can buy replacement parts. All I am trying to say is if you already own a x4 don't waste your money on the new and released x41 or x31 their not worth it and if your thinking about getting a AWESOME GAMING HEADSET then just go on over to Astros' website (forgot the link sorry).
