its very easy to say the x4's are better than the x41's when i used them both on the same set up. x4's not a problem, x41's absolute garbage. so IMO the x4's are by FAR superior. i used both headsets in the same day on the same tv and no its not a plasma bc plasma+gaming=BAD. unless u like burnt in pictures on ur screen from long hrs of gaming. its not rocket science here. use one and they r great use another and they suck. looks like one is better. better technology dont always make a better product.

I still have a pair of X4's (selling on ebay since I picked them up for $80 off craigslist) and my X41's. Used them both on 2 different setups. Mine, where the X4's sucked due to the plasma IR interference. Next I took them to my neighbors house to see how they would hold up with no Plasma IR interference. The X4's performed a bit better than it had at my house since he has a projector but it still paled in comparison to the X41.

The fact remains, the X41's are an upgrade. I guess my engineering degree and studies of wireless technologies don't qualify me to state an opinion on this at all. RF Wireless is SO much more effective than IR. The fact that the X4's require line of site should be enough to prove that to you. But of course this is the internet, so although you're terribly wrong...you'll never admit it.

I honestly hope you got a crappy set of X41's that didn't perform properly. Otherwise you're just stubborn and dense.

As for the Plasma screen burn in, that's only an issue on a brand new screen. I have no burn-in issues, but then again I'm an adult, I have a job, etc. I don't sit around playing games ALL day and night. I play to have fun and I research my purchases. X41 > X4 in theory and in practice.

HA its funny how u attack on age bc im def not a kid and the only reason i play a lot is bc i got laid off from my full time job that u assume i never had. if u would read my post i do believe i stated IMO many times. so IMO the x41's sucked. it may have been a bad pair but they still blew ass for me. and my fact that new tech dont always make a better product still stands. since ur so much older than me i guess u should remember those giant movie disks that were supposed to replace vhs? yea better tech, still blew ass. so before u go tootin ur own horn y dont u try to read the whole post and respect that it is MY OPPINION and not the rest of the worlds. do u get this upset when u read reviews on other sites? if u do thats just sad
