I thought it was quite good.
I hated the special effects. You could always tell when they were using the actor for Spidey or when he went into CG mode. Almost all movies these days are the same, the special effects are just so shitty I want to shoot myself. If they're spending multi-millions on a movie like Spider-Man, there's going to be a LOT of effects. Get some people who are more talented and more diligent in their work.
There was a night time scene, and Spidey is swinging around. He looks normal, obviously there was a green screen around him. Then, you see him land on a building. Now, all of a sudden, he looks like he has no detail to him, and he is BRIGHT. This is a night time scene, where there is not much light, so you would think that there would be shadows cast on his body and he would be somwhat hard to see. This was not the case. He STOOD OUT like a NEON LIGHT. My opinion: Fix your damn Spidey Model, get somone who can animate worth a shit, and have somone get his textures and lightmaps CORRECT. Spider man is not a Neon Light at night time.
