I just saw The Simpsons Movie tonight, and I have to say, if you are a Simpsons fan at all, then you must see this movie. The Simpsons has been running on Fox since 1990. In this day and age, where money is everything, it is nice to see Matt Groening and Fox wait to make an actual full length theatrical movie. They could have been making countless movies, but instead, they waited and came out with an awesome production.

I have watched every season of The Simpsons, either on cable television or the seasons on DVD. And, I can honestly say that the movie was great. They didnt divert in anyway from their normal characters, voices, etc. It was extremely funny and had a great story line.

If you like The Simpsons, then you should definitely check it out.

I give it 4 out 5 stars!

Agreed!! I too am a big Simpsons fan, and I absolutely loved the movie. I was expecting the movie to feel like they were stretching to get a normal episode to 2 hours long, but I never felt that way. It was just like one big long episode. So many funny scenes, although the whole (mild spoiler!!) thing about Bart wanting Flanders to be his Dad really seemed out of place. All's well that ends well...I won't give it away though!

Yeah, the whole Bart/Flanders thing was weird. The best part was when he was on his skateboard...covered, covered, covered, privates, covered, covered...oh man, I was rolling.

I'm waiting for it to come out on DVD so that I can go back and watch that skateboard scene in slomo. I'm betting the one where it looks like his privates is actually something else. Maybe his hand flipping the bird? It was so fast, and I just don't think that they actually would show Bart's privates. Maybe on wrong...

Yeah I think it was him flipping the bird, but it was supposed to look his privates/. Either way, it was absolutely hilarious.

I think that's the beauty of the movie...it didn't feel like they were stretching to make a 30 minute episode last 2 hours. I felt natural for it to be 2 hours long
