Hey guys it's me again with a big quesiton. Who is currently winning the Next-gen console war? All the console are good but out of the 3 the ps3 is the worst. The only reason i would get this 600$ hunk of somewhat junk is for the free online play. I currently own the Nintendo Wii and The Xbox 360. I think the 360 has the upper hand. It is in between the price with $300-$400 and now even $480 with the realease of the Elite console.
The WII is the cheapest but has the eye for more of the younger audiance with the E games not being some fun racing but like Ex. Spondgebob and chicken little games. The controls aren't that great when it comes to using the wii remote becuase you have to stand in a certain spot for it to work. The ps3 is crazy! With prices at the 500-600$. The only highpoints are the included blu-ray witch I think has a few bugs and the free online play. My friend had purches the ps3 and i played the two games he got. Resistance: Fall of Man and Marvel Ultimate Allience. Resistance was ok just another Alien shooter with pretty good grapics. Marvel is like it on every other console. I have also played Motorstorm witch was a drag in my opinion and Nba 2007 i think witch was kind of hard but i do stink at sports games. But the question i ask you is. Witch console has the upperhand right now?

I think the 360 definitely is the number one console right now, but disappointingly so. The 360 isn't all that great, but I think the competition is dropping the ball at the same time. Don't get me wrong, the Wii is great for it's target audience... but just not for most gaming. The PS3, from what I hear, is a magnificent piece of equipment, but is lacking in games and has the highest price tag.

Hopefully the Xbox team doesn't bask in the light of success without realizing the faults in their system.

Yeah and with the high demand of the WII its literly impossible to get. Yeah, i know what you mean most of the ps3 luanch games have been from like the 360 except for like resistance. I may get a ps3 if it drops to the 360 price range
