Well before the original Gears 2 achievements were revealed, there was a leak showing that, on Act 4 Chapter 3, you could either go in stealthily or go in guns blazing (and there was an achievement for doing it each way).
I think you'll find that come release, you'll need to boot up Act 4 Chapter 2 or 3, and select to go in dressed as a Theron steathily instead of attacking head on (you know the whole co-op aspect where you hit the trigger of the option you want? The screenshots we've seen from this announcement show them dressed as them, and at the end of the Maria cutscene you'll see Marcus pick up a Theron helmet as he says he thinks he has a way into Nexus. I'd imagine the SP content will last the same length as Chapter 3 and maybe 4, as it was previously planned to be included in the game as a different approach of course!
