I'm supposed to get some hands on time with the game next week so if there are any specific things you want me to look for let me know and I'll do what I can.

TDU: Interview
08/04/06 8:40 am | #1
Not sure if anyone is interested but with all the recent posts on TDU this week I thought I would post a link to our interview with TDU producer Ahmed Boukhelifa that is up today at http://www.gamingnexus.com/Default.aspx?Section=Article&I=1141. We talk about some of the features of the game, which cars they couldn't get, the lack of damage on cars, and a few other odds and ends.

Can you tell me if the handling is really that tight in the game, it felt way too constricting to turn in the game, even at high speeds i thought it felt too confined, but i just chalked it up to the fact that it was a demo. If you could check that out, thatll be great. Thnks Falcon

Steering - varies by car and there are different settings based on how sensitive you want them. A lot of the media people there bitched about the controls being sluggish until the developer told them about the settings options
Brakes - different feel by car. There's a big difference between the cars in terms of engine power and brakes.
I'll have more on Monday with a preview of the event/game when the embargo is lifted. I do have to say that the game is pretty damn sweet though...
