My family understands and my younger brother plays some, I live on my own and only thing my friends and family can't figure out is why you have to own all the consoles and tons of games for each, being a hardcore gamer well it's a must I tell them and still some of my friends are like WOW what do you not own and why the 1,000+ games...it's what I do to escape reality and get away from the real world and all it's up's and down's. I do play alot but I love my hobby.

well my family dosnt talk about it but all my friends are hardcore gamers we play everything pc xbox sadly 2 people lost internet but hey atleast we have fun btw i work alot and they all pass school so are video games really to blame for grades or just people being human

i am sadly growing apart from my xbox 360 lately, but for god reason...i'm 14, and now i am outside so much i can't find time to play as hardcore-like as i usually do...
having that said, when i do get to play, it gets pretty intense...i am just in my own world and nothing else matters...but my family doesn't see it that way. especially my mom, who annoys the hell outta me sometimes, when she simply says "it's just a game, it's supposed to be fun!" when i get frustrated...that's the fun of it!!! the fun is getting so angry at a single part that you wanna rip your hair out and finally beating it...the feeling of beating that single part just fills me with a joy like no other (not really but you know what i mean) so...yeah, my family just doesn't get gaming...also, the day after my dad got me GTA4 it was a friday night and i stayed up til 4 am saturday playing it, so my dad TOOK IT AWAY!!!he claimed "i knew it wasn't a good idea, i should've never got it" well, what the heck did he xpect me to do with it? sit there at midnight staring at the box? of course i was gonna play it obsessively the first day XD but oh well, i guess 4 am was kinda excessive...
but yeah, if you read all that thanx for listening to my random rant of gaming and sorry for wasting all your time lol...
