I can't guess what they'd give you as most places will base prices on the amount of demand on the games in your area.

I traded in about 50 Xbox and PS2 games, along with the hard to find PS1 games of Castlevania SotN (black edition), Castlevania Bloodlines, and some not so hard to finds like FF VII and Legacy of Kain 1 and only got about $200.

The 2 Castlevania's and FF VII would have netted them $120 alone, so figure about $3 a game and maybe $20 per PS2 if your lucky.

omg ? 80 dollars thats not fair .... i guess since yours was a next gen console with the hard drive than maybe about 20-30 dollars for each console, 2-3 dollars per game , so 2 consoles and 30 games may total to about 100-150 ?

Pure evil our estimates are very close ...20 dollars per system and 3 dollars per game puts me at about 140...so thats not bad

Again, that's only a guess, and only if they take them. Most places wont take games with more than minor scratches that can be buffed out.

thanks for the info pure evil and all the games are in very good condition with little to no scratches, all in there cases, with the instruction book and all. also how much would the 3 controllers sell for?

not only just scratches but if they have to many then they wont take them either. when i worked at a gamestop over the winter they didnt take ALOT of ps2 games. and all sports games u have u will get 23 to 75 cents. maybe a dollar. dont get ur hopes up on the 140 mark man. plus i think the fat boy ps2 trades for 15 bucks if i remember correctly but im not to sure

Not sure with the controllers, they will probably just expect them to go with the systems without extra cash going to you.

Just a tip, if they ask what you want to get out of it, go high. If you are expecting $150, tell them you'd like to get $170-180, the worst they will do is shoot you a counter offer or say no, then ask what they would offer.

The local place here is notorious for lowballing and when they ask what you want they will usually give it so they don't lose the chance to sell the stuff.

EDIT: It also helps to go there a few days before and see what they sell the same stuff for, and expect to get about 1/5th of that for it. If they are selling it for $10, you may get $2 out of it.

gamestop cant do that if he is going there. it is all in the computer. what it is in the system is what u get. if its not there u get nothing

I didn't catch that he was going to Gamestop. My bad. I have a local comic shop that also deals in games that I go to. The usually give more than Gamestop.

and yes i am most likely going to gamestop...but i also have a second store that id like to go to..( play n trade ) if anyone has heard of it...and i will go to whatever gives me more. But i just suggested gamestop first because these stores are common where i live
