Last night I played Shadowrun for the first time, thanks to Z. I really like it so far. One major aspect (atleast to me) that caught my attention was the lack of ranked and unranked games. There is just one regular type and it doesn't kick you out after a match, or limit the game to no friend invites.

My biggest beef with the game is the matchmaking. It takes forever just to get in any game at all. There's no way I'd consider changing the preferences to my preferred options because I'm sure it'd take even longer to find a game.

Once you finally get in a game, everything is great from then on. The races seem well balanced, and all of them are fun and different to play. The magic and tech are well balanced too. They provide a unique and refreshing change to the FPS experience. The weapons in the game aren't quite as special or particular intriguing as the magic. They're all pretty average except for the katana.

If you're looking for a game to spark up your summer, give Shadowrun a try.

Pastafarianism must have heard my calling... I was practically startled when his greasy finger pounded my power button. I mean come on... be a little gentle... I am fragile. Just some helpful advice for someone with a 7713 gamerscore. That is an improvement of 60 points over last time! He played Crackdown, Call of Duty 2, Shadowrun finishing an amazing 6 achievements, and before I even realized it, he was finished and I was sad.
