you could get a new (used) COD4 from a gamestop, then the next day go to a DIFFERENT gamestop and return YOURS, say they sold you a scratched disk. Then just get your money back...
Only you would think of that.

I would personally use Raine's idea, im sure you could get away with it and not even have to pay one cent.
do it, lol, there is nothing they can do.
or what i usually do is, if i need a new game or a replacement disc
i would usually steal them from gamefly, i only stole 2 games so far
sssshhhhhhhh

If it's the disc call Activision they might send you a new one. Or just buy a new one. ( karma man karma )

Do raines idea at Movie Gallery but just rent it, and then return the messed up one. Make sure you get the 25 cent play guard (damage protection) when you rent it, and be sure to tell them that it didn't play so the next guy doesn't get screwed. The store will just send it in to be replaced and probably give you a free rental and everyone lives happily ever after.

that used to do it to me only on like one game on my xbox i don't think it's cod4 i think in a month or so your xbox is going to do that to every game and it won't matter if you go buy new games or not.. my drive is really starting to make me angry it takes me 10 times to put the disc in over and over again before it works

I think that it is just because all COD4 discs were actually made with high-compressed monkey poop.
