The problem with the Saw Franchise is... the guy who wrote the first movie, the only good one in my opinion, hasn't written any of the other 12 saw movies. When you start getting multiple writers on one piece of work or franchise it can definitely get kind of muddled.

i believe the franchise was made for that point tho. every saw movie has been written and developed by a different person. thats y it went from an awesome movie in saw 1 to a teenage thriller in saw 2. idk if that is fact but i was told that by someone.
