I'm smitten with this incredible RPG. The game has an incredibly steep learning curve and is very much a "diablo clone". If you have by chance picked up this game or are interesting in renting/gameflying/borrowing or buying it then I have pertinent information.

On July fifth, for the majority of the day I will be hosting the SACRED 2 ICE CREAM SOCIAL. Any XBA member is welcome of course. The sign up page is here.

I will be online all day playing Sacred 2 and be willing to help anyone with any needed achievements as well as show the ropes to some of the newer players. I can give advice on which character builds work end-game and which are useless.

It will be a fun day for me at least

I will also have many friends from my friends list who will be able to help in the Ice Cream Social. Though let me warn you, once this game gets its claws in you, there is no turning back.

Hey, Im thinking about picking this up. What do you mean by steep learning curve? Are the controls tough or is there a bunch of customization or something? Thanks!!

By 'steep learning curve' I meant, that a good many secrets of the game are not explained in the manual and in general it is quite easy to screw up a characters build.

With the proper advice from experienced players and checking the Sacred Xbox Team Forums at http://forum.teamxbox.com/forumdisplay.php?f=152 then you should be ok. Though to play in the harder platinum and niob difficulties you need to have a godly character.

I have a very solid High Elf Pyromancer build I can share as well as a Utility Temple Guardian Build if anyone so wishes.

i've been using my first shadow warrior for about 70-80 hours now and he is ROYALLY screwed up lol. mask has helped me a ton, and with some +all skill stuff thrown into the mix i'm surviving, but even on gold i'm struggling with some mobs. luckily i searched for a plat game last night and was able to find one. instant 30 point achievement FTW!

i don't want to give up on my SW yet because of the achievements i think he can get. i have over 50% of the map unlocked now, but i still haven't found every town. there's like 42 or something. i plan on using him for that. same with the temples. i found them all but no achievement. i'm going to try revisiting them all again because i don't want to go through that with another character.

other than that, getting the other characters to level 15 shouldn't be any problem. just saving the easy ones for last i guess. beating the MQ without dying? think i'll ask mask about his pyro build for that. was going to use the same build for not buying anything, but i want to take advantage of bargaining.

anyway, that might not make sense to some people lol. good luck though to whoever gets it. it's a little overwhelming at first but you get one hell of a game for 60 bones. it's unreal.

Noah I believe I know the town you are missing. It's a doozy and the one that 99% of players get last. The second you enter the town you will hear the *blip* from the achievement. The towns name is Bluestonbury.

Here is a map of the game, Bluestonbury is at the northwest portion of Bluestone Lake.

As for the temples, there is one temple that is not shown on map but you must enter to still get the achievement. It is only accessible from the middle of a long quest chain that starts just south of Dyr-Laigh

awesome. thanks man. i will check this location out next time i jump on.

as for the "underground temple" i did find that yesterday, as well as the 19 that are above ground. i used the wiki map and unless you have to actually pray at each one, my game might be glitched. i'm not giving up though!

For the 'underground temple' there is a certain part where you can leave the cavern and go above ground, if you search north a bit at that moment while above ground then you will find the hidden temple. It's possible you missed it?

I do know for a fact that you do not have to pray at each temple, you merely need to enter it.

Also; there are temples that you might not have entered yet they appear as discovered on your map. Temples in Thylsium and the Isle of Mounts come to mind, though there are others in most major cities like this. Good luck, you can do it.

well i say "underground" because it's supposedly under the island and you can't summon your mount there. it does indeed look like your outside though, and yeah i found it.

i've also been trying to revisit them like you said, and actually enter the ones that i may not have entered before. i got a little excited yesterday because i went back to the island of mounts and while walking towards the temple i noticed the area was still black on the map. walked inside though and nothing, lol.

let me ask you this, mask. does the underground temple show up on your map now that you've found it? i definitely entered it but it's not on the map.

Nope, that elusive underground temple never shows on the map. So you should have 19 temples showing on a fully discovered map. Did you by chance miss the one in the northern desert? It's a doozy and the one that was hardest for me to reach. Also the Temple south of Dyr-Laigh is quite a pain to reach.

yeah, i got em all lol. the ones in the swamp were the hardest for me. i can't handle poison. stuff brings me down down down. it's all good though man, i'll figure it out. there's probably just one on the map i haven't entered yet.

The swamp is all about having 3 poison relics equipped and spam the heal potions when you get rooted lol.
