Why did Harry not die when he let Voldemort kill him? Was it because he was sacrificing himself for everyone in Hogwarts like Lily did for him? That doesn't make sense though because Lily didn't survive when she sacrificed her self. JK Rowling mentioned Harry's blood that Voldemort took in Harry's 4th year at the cemetery in the Goblet of Fire. I think Rowling said something about his blood of Lily's sacrifice was still living in Voldemort, but why didn't Harry die when Voldemort died then? I don't know, I was confused but happy when I finished.

Harry didn't die when Voldemort died because the first time Voldemort "killed" him, it killed the Horcrux, but Harry's soul was still alive due to the protective sacrifice of his mother. Thus, when Harry killed Voldemort, there was nothing left to keep Voldemort alive. I hope I am getting at what you wanted, but you phrased your question awkwardly

I understood the part of Harry being a horcrux and everything, but I didn't understand how he survived. Was Lily's sacrifice always protecting him forever against any killing curse? Or was it because Voldemort took Harry's blood, that Lily's sacrifice worked again?

I finish reading the book a while back and thought it was great!!! JK should have wrote the last season for the Sopranos because she ruthless with her pen and the lives of all her characters in the end.
