Finally got around to getting a full band together and giving a go on each instrument.
Now, I\'ve been with guitar hero since its first incarnation on ps2, and admittedly the guitar is a bit easier in rockband. But, holy shit, i just tried the drums on hard and expert, and i feel autistic now (and not the savantt kind).
I figured since I can play real drums decently, I would be able to handle it no problem. WRONG. Failed my first rockband song like three or four songs in. It gave me what I like to call a \'reboner\', or a reverse boner.
So I kicked back down to medium and played a few more, tail tucked in between my legs, metaphorically speaking of course. < <
Then, I went to singing. I\'ve been the front man in several bands, my mom and dad met in a band so I have been blessed with a bit of natural ability. I had already fucked about in medium and that was no problem. Again, I kicked up to hard and attempted to utilize my vocal cords. FAIL. You have to sing like a retard to get the right pitch. It took me back a few years to \'karaoke revolution\'. I was horrible at that game. Granted, my singing was fine, but the game wouldn\'t have it because I didn\'t have the pitch of a twelve year old boy. I noticed girls ALWAYS did better on that game, no matter what. Dammit, what a rerun. The only song I totally nailed on hard was \'sabotage\'. Went back to medium, no problems at all. :/
Still a great game through and through, but i think I\'ll spend most of my time on guitar and/or bass. But not ever at the same time, even on easy.
