Alright, so two-double-zero-nine is in full effect; we have been graced with a new XbA, the End Of Life for the original Xbox, and back to the grind as most of you are no doubt reading this, secretly or not-so-secretly, from your desk at work. So what else could the new year hold? Well a new week holds a new slew of Rock Band content coming your way. Thanks to a post on their official forums, which has recently been deleted, Harmonix's content for the entire month of January has been leaked to the public.
And coming out this week, you ask? Well how about a six pack of tracks from Roy Orbison spanning his career. That's right, and the tracks include:
“Claudette”
“In Dreams”
“Mean Woman Blues”
“Oh, Pretty Woman”
“Ooby Dooby"
and “You Got It”
The tracks will run you the standard 160 Microsoft Points a piece, or you can pick up the entire pack for 800 Microsoft Points. They will drop on the Xbox Live Marketplace this Tuesday, January 6th.
You want more you say? Well, now that Roy Orbison has been officially confirmed, lets see what else was leaked for the month of January. January will hold a set of Lenny Kravitz tracks for you as well, including "Are You Gonna Go My Way," "Freedom Train," "Let Love Rule," and "Mr. Cab Driver." I am a bit of a Kravitz fan myself, but what I am stoked about is the next band: The Steve Miller Band. Hits including "The Joker" and "Space Cowboy" will be featured this month. And yes, they are two different Steve Miller Band songs. January is looking good for Rock Band. Lets see what Guitar Hero: World Tour can bring to the table...
