meh. well 360s have been out there longer. and issues that have existed have been fixed, but the 360s are still out there.

Unfortunately, this is a stigma that could be attached to the 360 forever. I'm currently on my fifth 360, and it's starting to show signs of breakdown. I'm just glad for the warranties attached to it.

im still on my first box, for preaty much 2 years. but its been actin up latley like saying " plese insirt disc into a xbox 360 consile" i don't know if this can be repaired tho. it's just a minor glitch in my 360 tho, along with the disk holder having to to be manlully pushed in, lol , idk why it broke like that, my 360 is preaty safe. im just worried cuz my warrinty ran out a while ago.

ADA if your warranty is out and your box gets the RROD, then just lie. They have no way of knowing how long your warranty is... especially if you say your 360 was a gift and you do not have the receipt.
Yes this is dishonest. But microsoft should release a product that doesn't self-consume.

Not sure if this is correct.....but I think they go by the born on date of your 360. For some reason I think that is what they go by, but of course I could be wrong.

Just had to send in my 360 again, 3rd one in the last year and 5th one since launch, I got about 20 days out of this last one and it was made in Sept. 07. This time though since I have had so much trouble I got a choice of a free gift to go along with the 1 month of Live, chose the Live Camera, plus all my shipping was upped to overnight services. But ever since Microsoft changed the warrenty policy, nobody should have to worry about paying for their 360 to get fixed, it just sucks when you have to wait for them to get it back to you. Seems my bad luck happens right after I get a new game too, got 20 minutes into Lost Odyssey and it Red Ringed after freezing and that is crap.
