Wow... that's insanely cheap.
If your friend still has his 360, he should try sending it in to Microsoft. If it was the three red lights he got, it's impossible for his 360 to be out of warranty. All 360's are protected by the extended three year warranty for the three red lights.

Hmm, that doesn't make sense though. My friend said he got his.
Is he a close personal friend who's house you could go to, or an internet/xbox live friend? It is a confirmed scam across the board....

If I came across an xbox 360...refurbished or just flat out broken for $35....I'd be a tad bit suspicious and the last thing I would do is hand out my information to them

I was gonna say...
I have been thinking about buying a broken 360, simply to tear it apart and see if I can get it to work. Even broken 360s are still going from $50-$100 on EBAY! If I could get a BROKEN 360 for $35, I wouldn't even think twice!

you can buy refurbished 360's through gamestop.com and thy're generally about $50.00 cheaper than buying a brand new one.

He's a Live friend. I don't know what to tell you. Maybe he got ripped off too and he's just to embarrassed to admit it. I feel bad now for posting this thread. I hope no one signed up for that site because of me. Sorry guys. I have a question though, how can they get away with it? I mean, they're not keeping their end of the bargain by shipping you your 360.
They are Russian and ship from China. International laws a very gray...

ever heard the saying, "If its too good to be true then it probably isn't." 35 dollars is just way to low a price to pay even if someone was stealing them and reselling them.
