A new feature was added to Xbox.com today that allows you to enter or update your name, location and bio. This was originally released with the Fall Dash update as functionality on the Xbox 360 dash only. So now you can perform it from Xbox.com by logging in, going to Manage Profile and clicking Edit Personal Profile. Thanks to Major Nelson for the info.

It stinks that to edit the bio its still one really long text box instead of a nice roomy one so you can get a better idea about newlines.
