hey guys whats going on?

ive got a question about the gta series, i bought the gta4 special edition

at midnight at my blockbuster, but what i was wondering was

i want to play gta3, gta vice city, and san andreas, i just need to go and buy them from my game store or from my local mall...

but what i was wondering is do i have to buy that gta trilogy for the games to work

or can i buy them indivudally casue when i looked at them yesterday

i saw that they were selling all 3 of them indivudally,(like gta3 and vice city were from the double pack but being sold seperatly)

so can i just get them all individually and have them work

or

do i need to buy the gta trilogy?

please help me out, i want to play them again:D:p

i did and it says the ones that are backwards compatible are:

gta the trilogy
gta vice city
gta san andreas

but im thinking i can just buy them all seperatly and they should work.
the only thing i have trouble with is gta3 it doest say it is compatible, but the trilogy comes with gta3, and im pretty sure its the same as the regular copy?

dont you think?

Lol, it doesn't matter; GTA 3 is backwards compatable with the rest. It says GTA Trilogy because GTA 3 was never sold separatley on the original xbox, only in the trilogy. So the single copies you are looking at GameStop are really from the Trilogy, since that is the only version that there ever was. Lol, a bit confusing, but to answer your question all three will work, whether you buy them together or separatley.
