I own it and so far I am having a blast. To say if its worth a rent or a buy, its up to you. Its kinda like crackdown, but you can run up buildings and such. I plan to make a topic in a little bit talking about it.

Yeah cuz i own Crackdown...and InFamous(PS3) from what it seems InFamous is way better. I might just rent it and buy Ghostbusters.

Which is part of the reason why I don't listen to hype. All kinds of people around the net are saying bad things about it. But from what I see, there are more people saying good things about it than bad. That's why its better to not listen to other people.
I'd say give it a rent and see what you think. So far I think its better than Crackdown. But I am only 3 missions in.

I'd say plan on renting Ghostbusters. That game is looking like a 6-10 hour campaign that has little to no replay value, so no reason to really keep it.
Prototype could be rent quality too, but at least the game should take you more than 1 day to fully discover everything it has to offer.
