Problem Connecting to Live? - Columbus

Anyone having problems connecting with Xbox Live later this afternoon (Friday 9/1)? I was good earlier today but fired stuff up around 4pm EST and have not been able to connect. I have even having problems connecting to Xbox.com

Insight Communications is my provider and it appears their sites are having problems too. Did some tracert and ping and things seem to crap out around the 8th or 9th jump...all *.rr.com addresses it appears. I'm able to get out to other sites like google.comespn.comcnn.com with no problems.

I'm thinking it areageography specific...maybe the storms that are hitting the east?

Just curious if folks in Ohio are having the same problem this afternoon.

i had a ton of trouble about an hour ago, i also have road runner.. when i had the xbox try to find the problem it said its was my MUT or MIT or something like that.. anyways, i gave up for about 20 minutes tried again and it connected.. so I AM ON LIVE BITCHES

Yup. Im still having problems. I have Road Runner here in Columbus. Something is all F'ed up somewhere.

I just called RR support and they said they had a major outage affecting the entire state of Ohio for RoadRunner and Insight customers.

They said it is progressing and should be better by morning.
