I think there will be a rush for the next gen. systems so the Devs can put out their same ol games but charge us more for them. I will be shocked if Gears 3 or any new bungie game comes out on current gen. systems. I think we will be hearing more about this very soon!!!

It's like when activision merged with blizzard, they dropped the titles that they thought would not be profitable for more than 1 game. So immediately Ghostbusters and 50 Cents Blood on the Sand were dropped. I believe Atari picked up Ghostbusters and not sure who picked up blood on the sand but it's the current state of things, if a game can't have a long lifespan of several years with many sequels then some companies won't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

When I was shopping in a shopping center, I noticed a video game store which was known as a cheaper name (it was not GameStop or EB Games) and had cheaper prices (about -$10). One thought that passed my mind was "this will contribute in leading GamerStop in trouble".
