Plans for a FAQ?

I would think this would be more appropriate when we see more traffic, but how about there being plans on creating a FAQ for new members?

I would think there might be users that don't know how to add images to their sig, posting in proper forums, or maybe the steps on contacting a mod/admin in case someone has a beef with another user or officer....

It could be worked on little by little, or when there seems a need to have one of these created.

Just a thought !

Edit: maybe even the user levels you can reach.

good call on the user levels, i think we may need to revamp that eventually.. pasta, z, work on a faq?

Sure we can do a FAQ. Theres one built into the forum software I think, but we have it disabled. Once we fill it with entries we'll release it.

Along the remarks about their being software for the FAQ, and needing to fill it out....

Does that mean that each individual section of the site will have one? Or will there be a section of the site devoted to a FAQ?

What about the idea of having another part of the forums be for questions or to report problems? Along with the suggestions thread?

Maybe like changing the "Suggestions" to something more generic that would include the above mentioned site questions, and technical problems.
Your sure to get questions like that...along with....."How do I become a mod?"

I mentioned before about a rules section being linked too at the bottom of each page, and maybe the FAQ could go there too...if possible.

P.S. I'm gonnna make you guys go crazy with all these suggestions

To keep this seperate from my above post.......can I change my usernames color to something else? I can't find an option to change it....and I see the admins are in purple/pink

and a mods in blue....

well they've always wanted suggestions and i guess now they get 'em huh lol.. i think your color will probably stay the same as the different colors for us to denote that we are special obviously

Sorry, we're not going to change personal username colors. We may change usergroup colors from time to time. Since you're in just the plain registered members usergroup, your username is gray for now.

They're built into the site as a page that with a table of contents (linking to sections of the page), and then the entries. I gotta work on cranking those out, and altering the ones already in place behind the scenes.

There should be FAQs/Stickies in each forum to explain the rules...
