Nyko Intercooler

Well,

I decided to spend the $20 ($26 with shipping) and bought the Nyko Intercooler off E-bay. Should have it by the end of the week.

The only negatives I have read are that it is a bit loud, but if it keeps my refurb from crapping out again....money well spent.

Definitely let us know hot it works out. I want to get something to cool mine, especially since it gets might warm sometimes. I have it horizontally, and the fan stand really doesnt suit me well.

And do they sell these in stores?

I have not come across it in any physical stores, but EB/Gamestop is thinking they will get them in sometime in May.

I bought mine on Ebay, but there are several other reputable internet dealers selling them if they are in stock.

I received my Intercooler yesterday and installed it right away. I really like what it does for $20. This little Gem easily exceeded my expectations, as it instantly increased the airflow volume by at least 300 to 400 percent from what I was getting.

I have yet to run the 360 for a lengthy period of time, but it certainly seems like the increases airflow will keep it a heck of a lot cooler.

It does produce a some noise, but as I suspected it is a non-issue (at least for me). With me sitting at least 10 feet away from the console and my surround system on for the sound, it just blends right in.....

And where to obtain something like this? Havent seen one in a store lately, maybe because I havent been to Gamestop in a while.

My Best Buy got a recent shipment of these so it shouldn't be to hard to find.

as far as i've seen best buy hadnt carried them until now (according to hela).. i snagged one at circuit city if you have one of those around you

mr. zoboa can confirm or deny the presense of them at BB though

I had not seen any as of yet (only at Circuit City), but I let Corporate know a few weeks back they were missing out on the hottest accessory for the 360.....

I got one. For free :) ... but we dont need to go there - how I got it for free and all.

I havent played much with it but it looks pretty nice.

And is mine messed up, or does it not curver PERFECTLY around the 360?
