No Fighting in the War Room

I finally decided to start Call of Duty 4 on veteran the other day. I've gotten all the way to No Fighting in the War Room and am stuck right after the checkpoint after we clear the first level of the bunker then we run down the stairs, round a corner to the long hallway that runs down the middle of a clusterfuck littered with assholes shooting at us. Anyone have any pointers?

I tried to play this level for about 20 hours without success. Good luck.

Is the hall way blocked off up the middle, but has 2 doors, 1 left, and the other 1 right?

This level took me quite a long time to beat; I just took it very slow, and pretty much memorized where every enemy was and what their movement pattern was. Be careful as you move on to, because the checkpoint doesn't come to a few rooms up, where there are more enemies

No, it's the long hallway down the stairs with the big crest on the wall right after a checkpoint when you have around 6 minutes to abort the nukes.

QFT.
I just ran to the right and shot any assholes that got in my way, while my CPU guy killed the guys down the middle/left side. It took me about 30 mins to do it, then its a cakewalk after that.

this was the hardest part of cod4 for me, personally.
in case you're not aware, the faster you are, the more checkpoints you get.
i can't remember times, but if you can get downstairs pretty quickly you'll have a better chance.

MY tip is to use the right side as stated, and I also used nextgenwalkthroughs.com for a video on it.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I finally did it. I had even more trouble with the following section but I finally got into the control room & aborted the nukes. Thanks for your pointers guys. I used the NGW walkthroughs.

Congrats!
Thanks bro. I still have 11 intell items to collect, running the cargo ship mock-up, and mile high club. I'm having trouble deciding which is harder cause I haven't tried World at War in months but I've only been able to beat maybe 5 levels on it. I was stuck on I think it was Their Blood Their Land, a spot where you come across the trenches.
