Seriously, as far as these Call of Duty games.. they aren't even giving a people a chance to play the one that's JUST released without them having made a new one.. I mean COD4 wasn't even out that long before W@W came out.. they aren't giving people enough time to play the game to WANT to buy another one

yes it is a win =D the TH games are pretty fun (p8 and pg ftw) and no controller sounds fun. maybe theyll use something like the WiiFit has? that lil motion sensor pad thing

I would have to agree there, I mean sure it is far apart enough for it to be released, just not far apart enough for me to buy and keep up with the franchise.

cod4 has only been out for like what, a year or so? give or take a few months/weeks

and cod4 is STILL the same price as w@w...saw that at gamestop the other day...both are 60$ new...

i completely agree.
came into this thread to say the exact same thing, lol.

i've been a big cod fan since 2, and i can't wait to get my hands on WAW (minus the frickin' co-op cheevies. i hate those) and the next one is already in the making? come on.

NIN is my favorite artist/band.
from broken to the fragile (albums) he was an absolute genious.
now, he (trent reznor) puts out an album every 6-12 months.
i can't keep up, and it all sounds the same to me.

same thing applies, really. give your work some time, dammit!

I totally agree also...games nowadays don't have the "staying" power as they should. One of the reasons why i stopped playing Madden...one every frickin' year fer cryin' out loud.

If sequels to games come out every year, they at least need to be GOOD, meaning some changes or re-vamping of the game needs to take place for a buyer to say, hey this looks better than the first. It's my opinion this is far and few between.

Ditto on the new modern warfare, I appreciate World War 2 as much as the next guy but its been played out. Just a bit.
