youre half-right kidd. from what i can tell, Easy, Normal, and Heroic all have the same ending (not 100% sure on that one) but Legendary has an alternate ending.

it is. supposedly (idk, ive never seen it or done it) the Legendary shows (somewhat) what happens to chief. Normal ending just shows what happened to the arbiter.
idk, seeing as i havent beaten legendary..

If you wait until after the credits, you get an extra cutscene showing what happens to Master Chief.
