I have a lot of movies. My wife is a Mgr. of a Movie Gallery. She gets them at cost. Most of the big chains only pay .25 to .45 per title. The most she has paid is 1.50 for a title and that was a box set. She has them all sorted and labeled. I don't know how many, I know we were over 3000 titles about a year ago. Many more since then.
To bad it dosn't work that way for games.

American Gangster was long, but I don't mind that at all! It was a bad ass movie!! Totally worth it!
Another type of movie that I love is medeival fantasy like lord of the rings and sh*t like that! I heard that the rights to the Hobbit have been purchased and that the movie is in the works, but not being made by Peter Jackson.

Ya the Hobbit is being split into two parts, one coming out in 2011 and one in 2012. The first is to be about the actually story, but the second is supposed to close all the gaps between the Hobbit and LOTR. Based on the appendix of the Hobbit, the second part should tell the stories of how The White Council defeated the Necromancer and other stories like that.
Both will be directed by Guillermo del Toro (the guy who did Hellboy, Pan's Labarinth, and others).

No Kidding?! Wow, I know Peter Jackson did a really good job with the movies, but if anyone can do it better...it will be this guy
I'm looking forward to it too

It was a really really good movie and it was funny as heck throughout the whole thing...Think of a mixture of HITCH and NATIONAL TREASURE...very VERY good movie I thought.

I like all genres of movies....except chick flicks. I watched "The Strangers" a couple weeks ago and I thought is was freaky. It actually made me "yell" out loud in the theatre. I embarassed my gf but more importantly embarassed myself. The new M Night Shamelayn (doubt I spelled that right) looks pretty f'n good.
you're talking about the happening?
it wasn't that great, don't waste 7.50 or whatever to go see it in theaters, wait until it comes out in the redbox ... it's kind of pointless, you know basically everything you need to in the first 15 minutes, after that it's just you see a lot of people die
