One thing I have read a lot is how you need to put the game into the drive to boot the game. But what if, say, you had one game disc and a friend wanted to play it as well. I wonder if it would be possible for you both to save the game to your hard drive, then one of you uses the disc to boot the game. Once the game is booted you pop out the tray and stick the disc in the other xbox to boot the game, thus using one disc to boot the same game on multiple xbox's. Anyone think it will work? Or do you think the game will check at random times to see if the disc is still in the tray?

It'll probably just send you back to the dashboard like it does now if you open the tray.

i don't know that it will take up more hard drive space, i think it just caches it?
The video I saw online somewhere (can't remember where now???) showed it actually copying the game files to the hd, so I'm guessing you'll need at least the 60gb drive just to enjoy the "new experience"

The guy even when trying to deflect talks about a november release date, he goes and slips and says gears of war 2 will have the new dashboard. I know he was using it as an example but he could of just said it will included in games after the initial release, instead of using a title that will be dropping in november.

I'm glad netflix will be able to stream through the xbox, i'm going to sign up for sure, even if i don't get to watch as many movies as i used to, it's still way easier and i'll most def not run out of things to watch!

I really don't understand why you'd install a game on your hard drive but still need the disc. I'd rather just not install it all.
agreed, I wish you could just install to your hard drive and than be able to trade it back in to gamestop!

that would be the new form of modding lol
burn it to the hard drive, then just return it for other games..bah....weirdness, but humorousness
