Well, for those of you that have picked up the demo for Mirror's Edge, you may have noticed portions of the demo 'locked'. Yes, the demo was locked apparently. While I have yet to download it or play the game itself, it seems that pre-order codes were given out with which gamers who already paid for the game may experience the demo to full capacity.
Apparently, Mirror's Edge is not selling as well as EA and DICE had hoped; that would be my guess, anyway, as to why they recently announced that the demo is unlocked for everyone now. Regardless, the Time Trials portion of the demo has been unlocked. Whether you have downloaded the demo before, or go to download it now, you simply need to enter any 16 digit code to unlock the time trial portion of the demo as well. Any combination of numbers will work (ex. 0000-0000-0000-0000), so have fun racing yourself. I think I'll hold off a little before picking this up, but I will certainly try out the demo before I think about purchasing it.
