Game saving

I'm not new to the 360, but new to this leader board. I bet if people such as sufoor and anyone else for that matter, that game saves, was banned from the leader boards, you would get way more people. The moment I saw sufoor on the board was the moment I lost respect for it. Your #1 guy is a cheater and its obvious. He mocks it so bad he was able to hack himself into first and second. I actually found a leader board he has not hacked. I wont say it here because he will hack it sooner than later. People would join if the # 1 was not a cheater. He has hacked many leader boards and proves that achievements are pointless. He ruins it for the serious people. I know how he does it and I'm sure some of you here know too. Once people catch on, everyone will do it and this whole achievement system is pointless. So be pro active and ban the game savers. I think playing the game is the whole bases for this system. When he does not even play the game, but gets the achievements, it ruins the whole system and leader board mentality. This might as well be a blog site and have nothing to do with the leader board system.

He doesn't hack the leaderboards. He just enters his gamertag like anyone else.
Anyways, I have no way of determining who uses game saves and who doesn't. I leave that up to Microsoft. All the data comes from Microsoft, so if they tell me he has a gamerscore 203105. I can't single handedly police xbox live and guess whether an individual game saves or not. My only suggestion is to encourage Microsoft to crack down on these cheaters.
Ya I realise that

He was in first and second for almost 24 hours, what is that? A glitch then. He still makes the achievement process pointless. One profile said DC and the other said FL. If you look at his profile on mygamercard.net, it shows he has never played a game. He just game saves. One way to get more people is to get serious about not letting cheaters have their names advertised. I understand that you dont filter what you get from Microsoft. But you should. Its probably someone that runs a leader board, or he/she works for Microsoft and has access to things that the norm doesn't. Given that, its just a blog site. Make it a real leader board and figure out a way to make it fair to the people that spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars so web sites like this can exist. You might get thousands more people with a legit and accurate ranking system. Please dont take this as harmful, I just cant wait until leader boards only let people that actually play get listed. Cheating is definitely ruining my Xbox experience lately. Not with just the achievement process, you can tell I have played thousands of online matches in the last couple years. Just sick of the glitching that happens in almost every game now. Nobody plays straight up anymore. Thanks for your time.

I definitely understand how you feel Venus. I have never heard of game saving and I still don't know exactly what it is. I'm guessing its people paying others to put up points for them.
I think that it sucks but its up to micro soft to fix this problem. I wish we could trim the list of people that don't blog or get their gamer score the right way too.

Actually, it's cheaper than that. From what I understand, someone beats something, saves their game, and somehow is able to export it to a file that can be uploaded to the internet. Then cheaters download it, play it, and get the achievements instantly. It's ridiculous.

I understand your frustration. That was a bug where occasionally gamertags will be duplicated in the leaderboard. It's still not 100% corrected, but I manually removed the duplicate.
If there was a zero-error method of determining whether a someone cheats, I would be glad to start filtering out the cheaters. Unfortunately, nothing I can do is 100%. If someone has their Xbox Live privacy options set to not divulge the details of their gaming, we won't see any records of games played. They have a right to hide those details. When it's public, it's possible for people to stalk you or at least your gaming habits quite easily.
Most of the time this is a she said he said type deal. I don't know who to believe and so I can't justify removing someone from the leaderboards based on a few mismatched clues and someone's opinion. Hopefully Microsoft can figure a way to protect their console from cheaters.

Its a damn shame when people have to drop down to this level
