Mass Effect or Bioshock?

well im heading to gamestop tomorrow and i know i want to get one of these. they are both the same price but i only want to get one since i have a huge lineup of new games coming out within weeks of one-another starting with Batman in 2 weeks. im stuck. i like RPG's and i like FPS. i did start Bioshock before but i started on hard and it was no fun bc i kept dieing so i want to give it another shot and i never played Mass Effect.
so im putting the decision on you guys and gals at XBA. and pls noone say buy both bc thats not the answer i need. im only getting ONE!

THAT sir, is a very dumb question. Haha jk man.
I would have to say Bioshock hands down. Amazing story, fun gameplay, decent re-playability, an all around great game.
But if you're into big RPG's in space with "hardcore porn" than get Mass Effect.

Mass Effect. It's in the top 5 RPG"S ever created. And is my favorite RPG ever. I beat it over 6 times and have all achievements for the game. Ever quest and location memorized. And if get Mass Effect 2 it carrys over your story and the way you chose. Like if you killed this person they won't be in the second one, but if you let them live you will see them in Mass Effect 2
I played the bioshock demo and hated every second of it. It is one of the worst games i have ever played. I rather play viva pinata over bioshock.

well im still undecided on this. what one will last me longer? i kno mass effect will time wise if i want to 1000 it but will i want to play it many many times. same for bioshock. will i be willing to play it over again since it is really only linear?

Bioshock was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. I've never had a video game get my heart racing the way Bioshock did. I need to get another copy of it to try and max out the GS for it.
