Mass Effect Pinnacle Station DLC Released

The much anticipated second DLC release for Mass Effect was released today. For only 400ms points you can download the new Pinnacle Station DLC. This newly released DLC brings Mass Effect to 1200GS attainable and adds 3 new achievements worth 150GS.

Undisputed 50G
Complete Ahern's survival mission

New Sheriff in Town 50G
Take first place in any combat scenario on Pinnacle Station

Best of the Best 50
Take first place in 12 combat scenarios on Pinnacle Station

(note - As of right now the DLC is not showing up on the New Arrivals tab in the marketplace but there is a ad for it under the Spotlight tab on the dashboard.)

I personally won't be picking this expansion up for quite some time as I am picking up Batman Arkham Asylum today and will be playing the crap out of it and I haven't played Mass Effect in a while either.

On a side note it seems that there has been some avatar clothing released due to the special occasion.

I guess Ashley's Helmet and the White Helmet are pretty much the same although Xbox.com shows that one is for girls and one is for guys. Ashley's Armor and the Alliance Armor are pretty much the same except for the bewbs lol. I won't be picking up anything for my avatar from this store although I know there are some Mass Effect Fan Boys out there (noah I'm talking to you) that might buy some.

i will probably DL the new content and complete the game again considering it's only 400 points, but i'm no ME fanboy. i don't even have my level 60 file anymore. i deleted it when i believed there would be no new DLC. go figure, right?

i must say though.. the ME armor looks 10X better than that gow crap.

i agree on the armor. the gears is cool and all but the quality looks better on those. i still need to play mass effect

it's cool spider.

i loved the game when i first completed it but some of the cheevos are hideous!
i know i spent over 500 hours with it. had to run through the story 5 times.
stupid glitched alias achievements and all.

just to add to things it now appears that the Normandy Crew Cap is now available for guys too whereas yesterday it wasnt.

I'll be picking this new DLC up this weekend.

I'm at Level 58 on my Insanity playthrough (about halfway through). I'm hoping this new DLC will add quite a bit of XP. I'm trying to hit Level 60 on this playthrough (I'm killing everything by battle rifle and doing every mission).

This is my 3rd playthough --- just one more after this to finish up the engineer achievements and my final ally achievement.

I ran through 7 times. I also have the other DLC. And all 1050 gamerscore points. Except the new DLC. And I am playing it an 8th time because of the DLC. And plan to buy Mass effect 2.

I got the 150 out of the DLC. It's pretty fun and not too difficult as long as you have a decently strong character.

I watched my daughter run through it and she had no problems whatsoever. She's playing it on the 'easy' difficulty setting.

I, on the otherhand, am trying it while on my 'insane' playthrough and it's a lot tougher. I'm not getting killed (I'm a Level 59 Adept), but the VR enemies just don't seem to spawn fast enough on the time trials. It's getting quite frustrating. Maybe I'm just standing the wrong spots, idk.

Yeah... my daughter played on easy and popped them all in about an hour or so... easy as can be. I was hoping to maximize XP on my insane playthrough in order to get to Level 60 by completing all the DLC, too. I'll keep at it. If I can't, I'll do it on my next playthough.
