Is this game any good? I just bought it because I used to play the card game back in middle school and havent gotten a chance to play it yet.

One of my friend's, both on my account and in real life, played the card game religiously for years, and still does sometimes.
He bought the game and says he likes it, so I would assume you would as well. You could always try the demo to make sure though.
He told me it was good for beginners too so I may get it even though I never played the card game.

My bad, I'm tired, and obviously can't read, as your post does say you just bought it but haven't played it yet.

this game is fucking awesome, I played this in real life as well, and the game is just really fun. the problem with it though is that you can't do co-op campaign over xbox live and you can't battle 2 on 2 in xbox live unless there are 2 people on a xbox. also you can't really "customize" your deck, which sucks.

It's excellent. Meaty single-player campaign with optional co-op, the multiplayer options are, of course, orgasmic, and while you can't build your own deck you can unlock a sort-of sideboard and swap stuff in and out of the pre-mades.
This game is very well-executed, looks and plays nice without any superfluous garbage, and is a perfect fit for Live Arcade.
