tbh, if you think about it, both l4d2 and mw2 could be considered expansions. cause lets see what they both have in common
new multiplayer
new enemies
new weapons
new characters (mw2 kept soap but now hes the npc so you get a new cahracter to play as)
new storyline
new setting
expansions to the weapons (l4d2 has melee weapons and those other things you can add on to your guns, mw2 has the perks and accessory/attachable things)
new mode (i havent heard anything about l4d2 but im assuming there will be a new versus, and mw2 has its spec ops mode thing)
and that pretty much sums up both games. so if youre gonna call l4d2 an expansion, you could also say mw2 is an expansion. and yes im going to keep arguing this. l4d is an awesome game and i think l4d2 will be as well. i may be a valve fanboy for finding info to prove its not "just an expansion" and it deserves to have its own seperate disc and what-not, but tbh, im just not all that excited for mw2. i mean, i think itll be cool/fun, and i liked the first one but...after so long i just got bored w/ the first one...the mp would get kinda boring after a few matches sometimes, and i couldnt continue w/ that single player...
