ok well i was pumped wen i heard ther would be more sheppard fun but then i saw theyre chaging us and its only 50 achievement points to earn.... which means they will nickel and dime us a lil bit later and take advantadge of the 250, i love DLC but i cant bring myslef to pay money to get something that could have been put on the game that i just bought for 60$ (cough halo maps 12$ cough) if PS3s games and controller didnt suck i might jump ship but microsoft has by far the best games and most comfortable controller (by opinion) but theyr costumer service is less than helpful and they always find a way to make an extra buck, sorry long rant for first post but yah i love my xbox no matter how much i complain :)

I don't like having to pay for DLC, but if you want it there isn't much choice. I am not sure if i will get it or not. Only time will tell.

The DLC prices remain the same on both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 for cross-platform games. I know that Microsoft does not set the pricing of DLC for third-party content, so jumping to the PS3 wont reverse that trend.

The main thing to keep in mind is that you at least have the option to invest in DLC or not. If it is good content, consider it like purchasing an expansion pack for your $60 game. Their has been some blatant money grabs on the consoles, but I think people have been talking with heir wallets for the most part and the truly crappy DLC is more or less on its way out.

FYI The Halo 3 maps will be free in several months, just like the Gears Maps were.
