Could you tell us where you are from and your age?
Currently residing in Dublin, Ohio and 26 years old.
How did you find XboxAmerica?
I work with zoboa and he initially told me about the website back when it was still XboxOhio.
Where do you hail from originally?
Was born in Chicago, Illinois. After that, I lived in Hayward, Wisconsin.
Tell us a little about you?
I currently work for Best Buy in Dublin while attending school part time at Ohio State University. I've been a gamer since I was four years old when I had a Colecovision.
My current entertainment center consists of a Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Playstation 2, Xbox 360, and a Wii. My rare game collection is fairly extensive, with the major highlights being original copies of Final Fantasy for NES and Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III, and Secret of Evermore for the Super Nintendo.
Favorite restaurant?
Toss-up between Red Lobster and Olive Garden.
Most famous person you have met?
I met Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels from WWE in Chicago several years ago.
Person you would most like to have dinner with?
Since it never specified alive or dead, I'll go with a deceased person and say John F. Kennedy.
Who is hotter, Minnie Mouse or Daisy Duck?
I would say Minne Mouse. At least her mouth was flush to her face....
PC or MAC?
I've been a PC user from my first computer, and I don't intend to change.
How long you been an active gamer?
As previously stated, I've been a gamer since 1985, so roughly 22 years.
What is the story behind your Gamertag?
HochulisPythons is my gamertag, which refers to the NFL referee, Ed Hochuli. He's the one that you see on television giving long as hell explanations about penalties. The main reason everyone knows who he is stems from the fact that he's really buff and probably close to 60 years old, hence the "Pythons" part.
Favorite game genre?
Role-Playing. I've been hooked on the Final Fantasy series since I first played it on NES. I like playing games that last ridiculous amounts of time and challenge me not only through reflexes, but also challenge me to solve puzzles.
Favorite 360 game?
Currently, it would be Ace Combat 6. I'm a big fan of flight-sims and the Ace Combat series has pretty much had me in its grips since the original Playstation. It's tough to find a good flight-sim nowadays, and the AC series has done an excellent job.
All-time favorite game on any platform?
Final Fantasy III for the SNES. The deepest RPG on one of the best systems with no central character and plenty of storyline to keep you locked in.
Xbox 360 game not named Halo 3 you are looking most forward too?
Considering Halo 3 is already out, the next game I'm looking forward to would be Tom Clancy's Endwar. I've been away from the RTS genre for too long, and the storyline behind this game is way too good to pass up.
How often do you play multiplayer on Xbox Live?
I'm usually on somewhere between three to five times a week, more than likely to play Halo 3. I'll pop onto Guitar Hero 3 or NCAA Football from time to time. Eventualy, I'll play Cod4 a lot more.
What type of Live Gamer are you?
I'm usually the type that will be helpful. I don't understand the need to get onto a microphone and curse at people that you've never met. If someone pisses me off, I'll curse back at them, although that usually depends on how drunk I am at night. More often than not, I'm the type of person that likes to talk about random things.
What does your Gamerscore mean to you?
Very little. I don't see it as anything more than a number to show what you've done in each game. Granted, there are a couple of games that I want to do better in, like Guitar Hero 3, but all in all, a gamerscore is just a nice little extra.
Best in-game accomplishment?
Beating one of the original Guitar Hero developers, otherwise known as the "Meet Your Maker" achievement on GH3.
If you could lift 5 things from existing games to make the ultimate game, what games and what parts?
Unfortunately, I don't think this is possible for me. The best parts of games that I have in mind come from roughly four different genres. I could list some of my favorite things, but it just simply wouldn't make sense.
One thing you would like to change about anything related to Xbox 360?
I have yet to have a multiple person chat session on standard XBL, outside of like Halo, COD, etc.
What can be done to improve XboxAmerica?
I'm not too certain at this point. I think our smileys are kind of generic, so adding a larger collection of those may help. Other than that, XBA is solid.
