I actually won a free copy of Newton vs the Horde back when it was new but for some reason I have never taken the time to play it... anyway, I wanted to tell you guys about another kick-ass indie game:
Breath of Death VII - 80pts ($1)
If you're a fan of old-school RPGs from the 16-bit area, you gotta give this game a try. It has awesome pixel art work and a hilarious sense of humor with many nods to the classic games of the era. It gets a bit difficult at points but there is no huge penalty for dying and save points are pretty frequent. If you're too cheap to risk a dollar, you can grab the trial here.
