It happened to me once, but if you still got the game save and reload it, it should bring it all back...game depending. I had that happen to me while playing Lego Star Wars and when I reloaded it (after losing like a ridiculous amount of Gamerscore), I finished the stage and like 30 achievements popped at the same time....worth a shot

The only way you would have lost your points would have been because you must have recovered it and your house after your dads, and since you weren't online it didn't register.

Try this out... go back and recover your tag onto the hard drive that you had earned the points on and hopefully they will appear. If they do and you are connected to LIVE that should secure them on the servers so that when you recover back to your own hard drive you should be good to go. Good luck.
