The fastest I have been in a car was 140 in my brother in laws Honda Civic, I was scared shitless. We were weaving in and out of traffic like it wasn't moving, even though we were in a 70 mph zone. We made a 50 mile trip in about 15 minutes.
All this for the glory of playing Paintball.
Haha!
My only advice (mind you, I am female) is keep your purse on the passenger or back floor board at the gas station and keep your doors locked when you're out of your car. People can easily open the passenger door and snatch shit ninja mode. No joke, I've seen it happen...and I threw a pack of fruity Mentos at the man who did before some guys took him down (it's all I had..) But as I was saying, PURSE ON FLOOR BOARD! That is all.
lol I do the same thing whenever I buy a new videogame or movie and stop somewhere other than straight home. It goes on the back seat floor under the passenger seat.

I do the same, i think if someone sees a game on the seat, there gunna break the window and steal it! even if it was something like the hannah montana game
after all there all some weird criminals out there
yeah before i had the car i have now someone broke into my car just to grab a handful of pennies i had in my cup holder, so now i make it a point to not leave even a single coin in my car.

Don't play Forza or NFS Shift for a long time before driving, otherwise you might find yourself taking the 'racing line' through suburban neighborhood turns at 55 mph.
Cops don't appreciate a perfectly executed turn through the apex when it's 20 miles over the speed limit
I felt the same way back when GTA III came out for PS2. We'd play that game for a few hours and then go to work or the bar and my adrenaline would be pumping and I'd be driving real aggressively. A couple times I felt like carjacking some old lady but of course we never did. That was the only game to ever make me feel that way.

Really? It made me want to pick up a hooker, pay her, then kill her and take my money back.
lol
I never did of course, just the way the game made me feel.......

Congrats man, don't get 32 speeding tickets in 6 months and lose your license for a year like I did . Other than that, you should be fine, lol.

Nice dude. I just got mine 2 months ago. My advice;
-Avoid Wisconsin drivers. They're crazy as fuck. Avoid Ohio drivers too, but only if they're in Kentucky
-Don't use your phone. In just my little amount of driving I've done, you'd have no idea how many people I've seen nearly be in wrecks because they were texting or some shit. Don't mess with the radio unless you're at a stop light either.
-Drive the speed limit. Just cuz some crazy motherfucker is riding your ass, don't speed up. I had some dude pass me on a double yellow the very first day I was driving. 3 miles later I passed him and he was in a ditch.
That's about all I can think of. Still though, you can do everything right and still be in a wreck. I got rear ended by some Wisconsin driver who was texting while driving and didn't pay attention when the light turned to yellow and I stopped. My silverado>her Geo Metro though. She ended up going to jail for drug possession and suspended license. I've yet to be in one that was my fault, even though I remember certain posters saying it was guaranteed that a new driver would cause a wreck within 6 months.

Good advice as well. I always stress to my friends and family "No texting on the road!" It's a distraction, even if you can text with one hand. Keep in mind you're avoiding an accident every time you make a good decision--no matter how big or small.
Best of luck!

lol yeah Wisconsin drivers are fucked up. I am from Wisconsin and I'm scared by some of the peoples driving "abilities". I once got passed by a dude in a jeep when there was almost a foot of snow on the road. I was doing 35 and he had to have been going 70 and like you mike about 2 miles down the road he was in a ditch upside down. I don't drive like a maniac though. Most of the people in Wisconsin drive retarded in the summer and as soon as winter hits they seem to have forgotten how to drive in snowy conditions.

Oh another tip, If you're going to crash, remember to "Stomp, Stay and Steer." Foot on break, stay on break, and steer into safety or best possible place you could wind up. I learned that from Motor Week back when I was younger on PBS. Even though I don't know how reliable this tip is (I've never been in an accident) they seemed to swear by it. Any objections?

The main BMV is down on broad street right off of 70. There are a half a dozen places around town where you can go in for a driving test as well.
