I hate COD2 So Bad

Going back to COD2, after playing veteran on 4 and W@W, I thought what the hay, it cannot be as bad as them. Sure it wasnt in the first 3 levels, but damn is it getting tough.

I am hating there is no run function
I am hating that the smoke takes forever to fire up
I am hating that crosshairs with sniping are a bit off
I am hating just about everything to do with veteran

I was all happy to beat the level where you reconnect all the radio lines and blow up those tanks. I thought for sure an achievement.....NOT!!!

Anyways, just had to rant about this game as it already upset me for the night.

Well, based on what you said there, I'm glad that I didn't buy it, I almost did based on the exact same thing you said...

yeah, Call of Duty 2 is rough. It takes persistence. It took me a few months to beat it. I'd get pissed off and wouldn't touch it for a few weeks, but then I'd come back to it.

stick with it man!
it gets really tough, but you'll feel so accomplished once you've pulled it off.
the hardest level for me was d-day. good luck with that shiz!!!

difficulty wise:
cod2 > w@w > cod3 > cod4. in my opinion.

Just stick with it and it'll happen. It took me about a month to 1k the game. Two sittings of about two weeks each. Just wait til you get a little further in. I feel like I need to find cover every time I see anything that looks like a church :'(

Call of Duty 2 has the easiest Veteran mode of any CoD game. If you've beaten CoD4 and ESPECIALLY World at War, then you have no complaints. This one is a cakewalk.

I can kinda understand the comparison to W@W but CoD 4? That was cake...CoD 2 is ridiculous. I think you're confused.

No, I'm not confused. It's called my opinion. I beat CoD2 on Veteran in the span of a week. I played through it on Normal, Hardened, and then Veteran. It wasn't difficult at all if you take your time and know how to approach the game.

And this is coming from someone who has beaten all of the CoD games on Veteran.

I got to the 5th or 6th level on W@W and said Eff it. too much effort.

On Modern Warfare, I got to the middle of act II i think.

Ya i got throught Vendetta on veteran then said screw it. Im going on easy to get the achievements. I cant even imagine how hard they would be on veteran. I might skip arounnd

Well I haven't played COD games on veteran (well I have but not very far) and from what i heard, all the japan missions on COD W@W are grenade hell
