i don\'t write too much but i guess this would be a cool place to put some video links or whatever.

i\'m a trumpet player but started off a little differently i guess. most trumpet players i know are \"classically trained\" or whatever but i didn\'t get to play very much classical or symphonic pieces, all i played was pretty much jazz so full, crazy high screaming trumpets are what i love.

this entire section is amazing. im not sure who\'ll appreciate this but just know this is #@$#ing great

As a drummer, I may be biased, but check out the Buddy Rich big band orchestra for some great big band jazz! He is the greatest drummer this side of God, but he surrounded himself with some of the greatest talent of his time!!

I used to be a trumpet player back in middle school....coincidentally I used to abandon my trumpet and just go over to the drum section and start to bang on the drums for most of the class though. Good times.....

its really hard to keep the lip strength up with the trumpet, your lips weren't really designed to vibrate like that so its a huge battle.

That Buddy Rich orchestra is great stuff, awesome saxophones out of there

there is this guy that came to my school not too long ago names Eric Miyashiro thats just a screaming trumpet player. he usually does maynard ferguson tribute bands and just destroys these high parts, its so awesome.
