I bunch of my LIVE friends I've known for 5 years. You can't play online with someone for that long and not get to know them. I know their spouses' names and how many kids they have. I wish them Happy Birthday and enjoy their company.

I only play and talk to about a fourth of my friends list. I'm almost always in a party with the same exact people, either playing Call of Duty or Halo with them. Its pretty rare that I'm not talking and playing with my friends on xbox.
