I see the thinking behind it as the Admin only accepts donations when they are needed; i.e. upkeep costs for the community (domain name, hosting, servers, etc.). When these costs are paid up, there is no need to accept donations, as he's not in it for the money.
I, however, became Senior Staff Member strictly for the money...which I was not informed at the time that it was an unpaid position :-/ Regardless, if money is burning a hole in your pocket, in lieu of donating to XbA, please feel free to contribute to the Hektic Foundation instead. I can personally guarantee that it probably, might go toward some xbox 360 games...or my rent...and you probably won't get a nifty award for it, but I believe I'll get the "Moocher" award.
