Hmm, didn't have that happen to us. The only "glitch" we ever ran across in the game was probably just a bad connection on my part as every now and again the game would abort saying the other person left (it did this to both of us) and we would have to start the game back up and resume at the last checkpoint.
Good luck, its game over once you get to the door, we didn't know that and spent several minutes collecting ammo for a final boss fight that didn't happen...lol
